Background
I'm a designer who's genuinely hard to put in a box. My background covers brand identity, UX, web development, and marketing. I find the most interesting problems usually live across all of them.
I studied Visual Arts and Design at UC San Diego and Architecture at Orange Coast College, built and run a web design agency serving small businesses, and have led marketing campaigns, designed brand systems, and shipped customer-facing work across a range of industries. I work in Figma, write HTML and CSS, and think about the full arc of a design problem from research and strategy through to what actually ships. I'm also drawn to design as an operational tool, figuring out where a process breaks down or where people get lost, and working backwards from there.
Outside of work I build my own computers, follow developments in AI closely, and run regularly. I tend to ask why something works, not just whether it does.
